Delicious little find! We enjoyed a casual lunch here and loved the laid back vibe with nice decor (and plenty of space for pram/highchairs!) I thought it was a nice touch having colouring pencils for little people to play with – I love family friendly places so big plus here!My husband had the lamb wrap and I enjoyed the DELICIOUS pork belly salad. Mine was definitely the winning dish of the day – nice Asian style salad with big slabs of soft, tender pork belly. YUM! The lamb wrap was nice, but perhaps a little pricey for $18. Made great value with the use of the Entertainment Card, the staff were lovely, quick and polite. Great find – yum!
Neat little trendy (borderline hipster) cafe. Food: decent. Views: of the neighbouring shopping centre car park. Ambience: bustling weekend brunch spotMenu: short but contained the essentialsCoffee: adequateService: gruffVerdict: value for money is ok, a nice spot to eat brunch or meet friends but not somewhere you’d want to linger.
Had breakfast here on Sunday morning. Really disappointed in the quality of food guys. I ordered a banana smoothie that cost $8.50 and it comes out in a small tumbler! Plus it tasted like sour yoghurt. Had it remade and it tasted like honey. I wouldn’t think it’s to hard to get a banana smoothie right! To be honest the menu pricing is a bit on the expensive side for what you get. I mean for $15.00 I got bacon and eggs and it came out with two tiny bits of ciabatta. Seriously time and time again I keep being disappointed in the quality of food especially in Coolum!
They use cage eggs in all their baking and food. Very unimpressive and unethical for such a ‘trendy’ cafe these days in Australia! Just add the small extra cost on to the menu items. Even McDonald’s Coles and Woolworths use free range eggs these days!!
