Decided to try this place out tonight for dinner after walking past a couple of nights ago. The setting is beautiful with tables set amongst tall green trees and lights perfect for dinner under the stars. The food however was slightly disappointing with the king prawns entree and wagu beef brisket. The beef brisket was over cooked I thought. Dessert faired better with the mandarin semi Fred-do which was good. Service here is however fantastic and our server was friendly and polite and made our evening overall a good experience.
Nice atmosphere, great drinks, good service. Food? Fine. Expensive for what you get. I guess I can’t complain if I ordered the dumplings and then reordered them straight after because they were so delicious. The dessert was a bit disappointing. All in all a good night out.
What a great choice for our anniversary while in town. This place is quality food fantastic service who are well acquainted with the menu. We started with fish dumplings and herb and pepper squid.. Both amazing..ask for the chilli sauce on the side my tip. Mains we had wagyu steak and grilled octopus so delicious and couldn’t help ourselves with dessert which was the semi freddo. Highly recommended
Best as good as the best in Palm Cove (Vivo) with the seafood platter and the wagyu a highlight, but the fish dumplings had too much chilli basted on killing the flavour unless it was scraped off. Great ambience – Casablanca projected on a wall – and atmosphere and will definitely return.
Amazing cocktail list, great $10 kids menu. Really friendly staff (shout out to Gavin!). Started raining but most of restaurant is under cover. Sunday Spit great value and lovely food. Didn’t need to book which is a plus.
