We came in for a belated Mother’s Day dinner on a Sunday night. My mother is Filipino but it’s not often you come across a Filipino restaurant so we werr keen to try it out! I came with low expectations given the current rating but thankfully, I was very pleasantly surprised. We were a table of 6. We ordered Canton Guisido, Adobo, Menudo, Afritada, Chop Suey and Lechon. Unfortunately, they did not have the Diniguan. All were really good. Lots of meat and vegetables, saucy and tasty. I have to say, the portions of the Menudo and Afritada in particular were ENORMOUS. We ordered a dish each to share and we had 4 containers of leftovers including 70% of the Menudo! And we did have one big-eating male to help out! I came for the halo-halo but we didn’t have room! Looking over at the other table, it turns out that the halo-halo is also a giant sized portion. Some may say the prices are on the heavier side but I think it is pretty accurate for flavoursome and plentiful meals. We will be back!!

My wife and I ate here two weeks back on a Thursday lunch time and found the restaurant to be very welcoming place. The food was excellent and in ample portions. There was a birthday party group there at the same time so the single waitress was under some pressure to keep up with orders etc. This is one area that may need attention. The cost of the meal and drinks was fine and not overpriced. I would be happy to return in the future.

We tried ala carte dinner, and it didn’t fail us. Again, if you are looking for authentic asian food, particularly filipino, this is your best choice. Filipino dishes are becoming popular, for aussies that have not tried filipino, give it a try and you won’t disappoint. It value your money and can share a dish for 2, and select other dish to combine for varieties. Good service and fast. I am happy to have a restaurant like this nearby.

One of our fav restaurants in Brisbane! My husband is Filipino and loves the food, and after dining at Cocomango, so do I! We eat here at least once a week, twice this week and the taste and quality never disappoints. The serves are very generous and the menu has a great range and having tried most dishes, they really are authentic Filipino. The owners are lovely hosts too. We have 2 small children and all staff are accommodating. Also, having read other negative reviews including a lengthy one about a ‘Filipino Eatery’ I have to say we haven’t experienced these problems on our visits. Rice prices are reasonable, $4 for a serve for 2. Plenty of high chairs. Menu prices do not change when you go to pay upon leaving. Certainly some where to visit and try for yourself.

Finally a Filipino restaurant in Brisbane that serves genuine full flavoured and generously served Filipino food at a fantastic price. This Filipino restaurant is by far the best I’ve had in Brisbane. For a real taste of the Philippines, come here.

Went on Saturday night and discovered it was a buffet. Price was reasonable and food was diverse and pretty good. Probably not as good as cooked dishes but you seem to get that from buffets these days. Dessert bar was magical and I’d go back just for this.
