Wonderful food, bacon and egg burgers were lovely, the scones and cream were to die for. The only bad thing was the service. I felt rushed to get my order in, and when I ordered I asked if I could get the scones before the main meals of bacon and eggs rolls, instead we got our rolls and then halfway through the meal our scone got shoved into our table and left, so we had to finish our main meal and then eat a cold scone. The servers used to be great but it’s gone a bit downhill from what I’ve seen in the past few visits, I hope the service gets better, the food is great! And great value!
I went there last Sunday. I eat eggs benedict very often at least once a week, and I’m very particular about the dish since it is hard to make but this is probably one of the best I’ve had on the peninsula, the dish came out with a few slices of oranges, which looked abit weird at first but I’m all about the experience so I had them.. Only to understand that having those slices made my mouth sweet and with the acid from the oranges got rid of any other tastes From the coffee I had earlier that day, so I could fully enjoy the dish. I was surprised at how good the dish tasted because it was cheap! Compared to most places on the peninsula, with lots of salmon, heaps of benedict sauce and the eggs being poached to perfection without tasting like vinegar! The service was fantastic with a waiter being polite, very quick and funny at the same time! Only had to wait 5 minutes! The iced coffee that I had was also the best! I walked in there not expecting anything and walked out with the biggest smile on my face so thanks to the crew for making the experience unbelievable! The only bad thing I have to say is for that level of expertise I feel like I should have spent more money 🙂 not saying that you should make it more expensive though haha. I’ll be there again and again and again…
Great Breakfast. The food was delicious and the service was friendly and attentive without being imposing. There was only one young man looking after all the tables but he handled it well even though they were busy. The portion sizes were generous and the coffee (most importantly) full bodied and smooth. We have eaten at most places along the front and were very impressed. A new favourite breakfast destination.
