I really enjoyed our visit here. Food was really tasty and coffee wasn’t half bad. They did some delicious juices which the kids loved. Everyone enjoyed their meals which were a little different but not pretentious. Had the savory mince, really liked it. The place is a bit overwelming when its busy though. Worth the detour.
Oasis serves top quality food which you can’t rush. Great location, complimentary newspapers, comfortable seating and a stunning location where you can gaze out across the bay to Moreton island. We are regular customers and find the staff to be helpful and friendly. Super busy on crazy Sunday market day. If you just want fast food Banjo’s and Subway next door.
My wife and I went here for a Sunday lunch. The markets where on and it was fairly busy. We where seated and ordered within 5 minutes but then after a 40 minute wait I asked how long our food would be, I was told 5 minutes. 10 minutes later I was fed up and starving since we had been waiting 50 minutes after ordering, I went up to cancel our order and get a feed from one of the vendors in the market but they where bringing out our food so we stayed and ate it.The food was nice but we where so hungry anything would of tasted good.My wife had a eggs benedict with salmon and I had the open burger.Sorry but 50 minutes for 2 basic plates of food isn’t good enough.
Good food? I dunno, we never got served. I understand that being a busy establishment I may have to wait a while to get my meal, but in 45 minutes to not even have the beverages brought out is a complete joke. When we asked about our drinks 30 mins in the waitress literally just put her hand in my partner’s face. This place clearly lacks any kind of leadership as the whole experience was quite chaotic. 20 minutes in we were asked if we would like a menu… That’s 20 minutes AFTER we had ordered! Had to get up and leave as we couldn’t keep waiting. Left for the place next door which was even busier, however we received a service… and food… oh and our drinks. All of which we never recieved at the Oasis. Oasis? I think it really should be called the mirage
Best juices!. Best pineapple, orange & lemon juice i’ve had, how do you make it?
Very happy customer #Mynewlocal. Do yourself a favour and go here! Best I have found in the Cliffe. Great variety. Good service. Great coffee. They know how to cook and deliver awesome flavours. Not too pricey and worth every penny!!
Awesome breakfast. Myself and my partner went there for breakfast on Sunday morning. For someone that enjoys a big tasty breakfast on the weekend, I was rather impressed. I got the scrambled egg crepe with ham, it was a large serving with a generous amount of ham. My partner’s egg’s Benedict crepe was delicious and the lime thickshake was tasty too. I’d definitely go again.
