Great. Good old fashion service, the best food I’ve had since leaving Melbourne 5 years ago it so good to go to a traditional Italian restaurant with real Italian food thank god I found my new favourite restaurant
Authentic Italian food and atmosphere. A lot of the reviews on this website say more about the reviewer than the restaurant; it seems many like the latest stylings and a share of subservience – great, go somewhere else. Anyone who likes Italian food and atmosphere will enjoy coming here. It’s fairly priced for the freshness and quality of the food, fun, informal and genuine, a thoughtful menu in all the right ways – healthy food not fad food – and the menu is always changing. If that sounds like you, visit TripAdviser to get a fairer picture of what’s on offer at What’s in the Pot, or just visit and enjoy 🙂
What a delight. Authentic Italian meals cooked the way that they should be, traditional recipes served with love. The food is not massed produced like some restaurants but is prepared as ordered and cooked to perfection, therefore there may be a bit of a wait to get your meal but the wait is worth it. If you want to try some of the best traditional Italian food around then this is the place for you.
TRUE Italian food. This little restaurant is nestled in one of the alleyways just near hogs breath, a hidden gem is what we found. The food was fresh, delicious and cooked to perfection! We are regular diners at the Rustic Olive but have now been converted! The only negative was they did not have pizza but their true Italian pasta and other dishes were exceptional!Highly recommended!!!
Good home made food. Good food , good atmosphere and good people
Really welcoming, food is all home made and fresh. The owners were fantastic people who interact with their customers, you leave feeling happy and full!
Pros: Cons: 40+ minute…. Pros: Cons: 40+ minute wait for a very expensive and unappetising cheese board. 30 + minute wait for stodgy risotto and a large salad that was very similar to a bagged one from Coles- not to mention extremely expensive. I haven’t been as disappointed while eating out in Brisbane like this before. It was just bad on all levels. Companions shared same sentiments. Cynical perhaps, but I don’t see how positive reviewers on here can be genuine.
