Like Ronnie I had been to this place when it traded under a different management. As coffee shops go they are few & far between during the holiday periods, so in we went. Was pleased to notice the blend of beans was Simply Beans as it happens to be a long time favourite of mine. Ordered flat white being assured by the friendly lady it was strong. Although it had a large amount of foam it was full bodied & tasty.

Ordered a flat white and a slice of raisin toast (not feeling hungry). Service is very friendly. Love the flat white with Simply Bean brew, which matches my palate. Raisin toast was done with passion but I prefer to have one without the icing powder Rating 3.5/5Nov 29, 2017 Rating 3/5Certainly, this caf is under new management as I remember it was under another trading name when my last visit sometime early this year. Walked in and was greeted by a friendly lady. Ordered my flat white and Egg Benedict with Smoked Salmon. It took a while for the lady to prepare the coffee and it came out that she made me a cappuccino instead. Well, I did not want to upset the lady since she did put lots of effort to make the coffee for me, besides that, the nutmegs on top of the coffee was a lure too so I accepted the coffee. It turned out not bad in reflecting the nice taste from the coffee bean of Simply Bean. Having said that the brekkie was let down; portion looked small and the egg benedict was over-cooked without running yolk and the smoked salmon was not that fresh. I wish the management should pay attention to it.
Great service. Hubby had a pork belly burger and I had a beef brisket burger, but we split them so we could try both, and they were both gorgeous. The brisket was lovely, nicely spiced on a soft bread roll with a coleslaw accompaniment that cut through the richness of the beef. The pork belly was just as beautiful, on the same type of bun, with a delicious asian slaw that just lifted the whole burger. Both came with a side of chips that tasted of potato and weren’t soggy. Can’t wait to try out the rest of the menu!
