This is mine and my boyfriends go-to breakfast place. I always get the Mediterranean Breakfast, one of their vegetarian options. Not too expensive and soooo good. My boyfriend always gets their Steak Sandwich, which is huge, and comes with a side of chips. Great service and they always serve a great cup of coffee. Great, no fuss, atmosphere. Great way to start a day =)
We arrived just after 8:30 for breakfast. Have now been waiting for an hour for our food to arrive. As per other reviews, if we hadn’t prepaid we would have been out of here and when we asked how long the food would be we were told it was being served up now…..that was 15 mins ago. Won’t come here again, I could have cooked it, served it and cleaned the dishes in under 30 mins!
It took over 45 minutes for our breakfast to arrive. When we asked how much longer it would take the waitress just walked off when we were mid sentence snapped ‘ok I’ll check’ and didn’t come back. If we hand’t pre-paid we would have walked out. When the food arrived (just bacon and eggs) it was cold and oily with no butter on the toast.We have been before and liked it so it was terribly disappointing to say the least. With two other places next door that serve breakfast we won’t be returning.
This cafe is one of the better ones in the area, however, compared to cafes closer to the city it’s average. The coffee was okay and the food was okay – just nothing special. Service was a little slow, although they did apologise for the wait. I would go back again but only if I wanted to eat a bit closer to home.
Love to come here for breakfast and a sip of coffee to start the day. Coffee quality can match the expensive ones I get in the city, while the breakfast is not only done well but also very affordable! Absolutely great place to have breakfast whenever I’m in the area.
So delicious! I had the steak burger and it was out of this world. So cheap too. Definitely will come back.
