Appreciate the early trading hours of this caf so re-visited it this morning. My gaze was caught by those freshly baked pies behind the counter while I was deciding what to order; therefore I had a steak & mushroom pie to go with a flat white. When the pie came to the table, I noticed that it was slightly burnt; however, the crispy pastry was not bad to mix with the minced beef and mushroom so save a bit of mark. In addition, the Merlo coffee also helps to add mark for the review so there is half mark up with respect to last visit. I ordered the flat white and Egg & Bacon Roll with BBQ sauce. Merlo coffee came with right strength but the smoothness was slightly down. The roll was served in large portion. However, they did not warm up the bread roll after taken it out from the display fridge; therefore, the feeling seemed odd. Actual rating should be 3.5/5Nov 17, 2016 Rating 4/5Among cafes in Rochedale area, I love this caf the most. Friendly service that makes me the feeling of having breakfast at home. Set-up is spacious and the food…the Gourmet Hot Dog with cheese..the drink…the Merlo coffee..are all delicious with generous portions. Love it!
