Their chicken parmigiana was AMAZING!!!! The only problem we had was with the staff; we had booked a table for work get together (at least 20 people), and they had knowingly given our table to a smaller group.
The steak was completely burned and full of ash. I had one bite and my mouth was full of bitter taste. After I asked to get a new one, first the cook and then the manager confronted me that its how they always do it. After I asked for a refund they told me I don’t get any and left. No service and disgusting food.
Great Steak but expensive. This lovely old building is a great setting, full of character, fabulous with its high ceilings but spoilt slightly by the gaming screens (but you can ignore them). The food was prompt and hot, the beer and wine lists were reasonably diverse (enough of a range for every taste) and the service is friendly. Two negatives: having to line up to order/pay for the meal from a window .. And the cost. Expensive for what we got, but nice food none the less.
