  This place is not a restaurant but not strictly a take-away shop either. There is a small dining area inside and a couple of tables and chairs outside but don’t come here if you’re expecting the peace and quiet of a restaurant. We came on Boxing Day and it was very busy with people coming and going. Combined with the Bollywood videos and music on the tv screen it wasn’t relaxing. The variety of food was great but it is at restaurant prices. A large chicken dish is $14.95, lamb is $16.95, and our spinach and cheese naan were $4.95 each. I had a lot of trouble having our order understood (3 large dishes, one large rice, 2 naan) despite it being straightforward. After about 5 attempts our order came out wrong – we were served an extra dish which we had been charged for. When brought to their attention though we were apologised to and told the extra meal would be complimentary and our money for that meal was refunded. The food is tasty, perhaps a little saucy and lacking in meat, but not bad all the same. All our dishes were mild but I would say too much so as they tasted more like stews than curries. So overall the food is tasty, but not a true Indian curry in flavour and definately pricey. Would I recommend this place – yes but with several provisos.

  Wanted to go out for dinner but didn’t realise everything would be shut on Queen’s birthday. No restaurant was open. Punjabi Restaurant told us they delivered and 5 minutes later when we called back with our order they said they can’t deliver. So decided to spend our money elsewhere if we had to take away anyway. Had butter chicken and veggie korma, with rice and naan with raisins. Veggie korma was a bit too creamy and not enough veggies. Naan was very nice. $25 seemed reasonable too.
