Had a dinner with Hark Hark discounted deal at this place few weeks ago. Ambience is quite homey so as the food. May I warn you that do not expect very good service but reasonable friendly attitude is what they offer you. The important thing is the food. Had one cold dish of Beef Tripe, the main dish of Preserved Vegetable with Fish Hot Pot and side dish of Stirred fried Vegetables. Taste of dishes deserves thumb up. Chefs nail the cold dish with right balance of condiments, the thick cut of fish in the hot pot brings you the sense of satisfaction. Hero should be the side dish, which comes with large portion, vegetables are fresh, culinary skill showcase on how the chef quick stir-fried the vegetables with high temperature following with appropriate amount of oil and the right balance of salt and sugar. You can see the green color of each vegetable shinning in front of you andnever can reject the lure of tasting them…. That should be the best stir-fried vegetables of the year in my list.

Midnight hot pot!. This is my favorite place to eat after my late shifts at work. I find myself growing more excited as the clock ticks toward knock off time. When I walk into the place, I feel like I am in a noodle joint tucked away in a Chengdu alley. The place is filled with young people in quiet twos and threes. For only ten bucks we are served a hearty hot pot of four veges and four meats swimming in a soup of Szechuan spices. Other reviewers complain about the cashier lady, but I like her. Her shift is long and she finishes at one am,. She never loses her cool even when the line of customers stretches out the door. I going tonight after my midnight shift. I look forward to my cashier lady delivering a hot pot filled with squid, ham, broccoli, fish balls, fine strips of seaweed, enoki mushroom, sliced fish, and soft black fungus.

Only good Service to Big Tables. We had three friends going to China Kitchen, and didn’t receive good service…But with big tables, of course with many more people than us, they gave warm and smile service. Price is a bit over and food was ordinary.

This is the first and the last time I come!very very bad service especially the girl who at cashier she was very very rude. Actually the shop was close at 1am and we went there around 9 ish and the waitress told us that the kitchen close at 9:30pm and we try to order the food eventually she told us every dishes I order was out of order, it seem that chasing us away. I feel that it was too rude to customer.

Worth the Drive. We’d been going to China Kitchen, Toowong, for the last few years; lately, the standards there had fallen somewhat so we thought we’d give the Pinelands branch a try. The verdict? Excellent, no-holds-barred, authentic Northern Chinese cuisine. Dine at this branch and you are truly back in the northern regions of China. The menu is a balanced contrast of fiery, full-on flavours complemented by clean, simple dishes. Try the creamy, silky smoothness of the savoury egg custard; sublimely simple.
