My best friend swears by this place and goes at least once a week. I can definitely see why, its just a shame they werent able to deliver a great experience for me first time round. Ds serves steak, spaghetti and a fried egg on a blistering hot pan to be eaten whilst sizzling away right before your very eyes. Conceptually brilliant, the venue simply lacks in decor and ambiance. We dined as a group of 4 and unfortunately 2 of our dishes were undercooked to the point of not really being able to eat them. Thats not to say I wont be back but if it wasnt for my best friend guaranteeing me it was a once off, maybe I wouldnt. My recommendation is go for the premium cuts. The meal comes with a soup and garlic bread which would have made a smaller steak the right amount of food. I made the mistake of going for a bigger piece of meat and I regretted it. Next time I will go for quality over quantity. I suggest you do the same.

Had dinner at this lovely eatery last night. Needless to say, what we aimed is to enjoy the steaks here because they were so impressive last time. Ordered the rib fillet with pepper sauce and eye fillet in mushroom sauce with additional $7.00 upgrade for drinks and thick toasts. Portions kept consistently generous and chefs culinary skill is no doubt perfect. Med-rare is med-rare and is much better than some high end restaurant. Unfortunately, the mushroom sauce was still let down and we wished the chef could pay attention to that.Nov 10, 2017 Rating 4/5Not realised that this is the new version of David’s sizzling not until I read Espresso&Matcha’s review when I wrote this review. However, we did smell the taste and felt that it ought to the sibling of David’s sizzling when we had the steaks on the table. Had dinner there last night and took the recommendation of the night’s special of T-bone (450g+) for just $25 + meal for extra $7 with soup, toast and drinks. I agree with Nicole Hung that I could not finish my T-bone at the end. The other Wagyu was prepared perfectly at med-rare. My black bean sauce was very nice but the mushroom sauce for the wagyu was slightly let down. Love the idea to follow egg and spaghetti with the sizzling plate but it would be much better to accompany some diced carrot, bean and peas (I am greedy!). Overall, service is good and portion is very generous. The CP ratio is good!

Had a rib fillet here, pretty generous for the price and tasty pepper sauce. The baked Hong Kong rice and spaghetti dishes looked awesome too, Ill have to try one next time. Steaks for under $20 – cant complain!
