Mobi Cafe has opened on the southside for several years, their offerings cover a small selection of nibbles including, Pre-packed Sandwiches, Banana Breads, Toasts, Cakes and Biscuits. Beverage wise available are Teas, Espressos, Bubble Teas, Milkshakes and Frappes.I popped in for a visita few days ago and wanted something quick to heal my hunger. If you’re the typical bacon and egg morning person like myself, Mobi’s may not be the place for you. I ordered the Chicken toasted sandwich and to wake me up, I had the Flat White.Coffee – Presented with a lovely swan latte art and smooth froth. Served hot, nice and strong as well.Food – The sandwich was taken from the display cabinet and placed into a sandwich press. Served well-toasted with simple fillings: Chicken, Greens and Mayo.Staff are nice and friendly.
Not a bad place to go for a hangout. One of the only late night cafes to serve bubble tea, coffee, frappes, and an assortment of food till midnight.
Not a bad place for Asian x coffee. I’m not really into coffee but my coffee friends seem to like this place. I’ve had the Taro Latte here and what looked like a be Green Tea cake. The latte was nice. The cake didn’t really have the taste of Green Tea so maybe I was mistaken. The strawberries in there were pretty fresh tasting even though I had the last slice. Because it was the last one the cream in the center was pretty hard. The interior is a little strange and not particularly tidy (magazines) with cables and electronic stuff being sold. I dunno maybe cause it’s dark I don’t feel confident about how clean it is.The service is straight forward and relatively friendly. I’ve had the waffle here on a previous occasion and enjoyed it. I think it’s better here at night when the full selection of desserts are available. There’s sometimes smokers outside so be aware of that. Ok to bring a child but not particularly suited to it. instagram.com
Really nice coffee and charming young man that served us today (Sunday 9th April 2017) . Wee little shop which has quaint outdoor settings. Be nice to have a little more available for breakfast. Enjoyable experience
The ice tea I ordered was great but the employees did not seem welcoming which made the experience less pleasant. There is usually a lot of customers here and isn’t ideal if you want to do work or have long chats with friends. There are also usually people smoking nearby the restaurant which doesn’t help the ambience of the cafe at all.
The Crme brle here is not bad. It isn’t too sweet and the top melted sugar has a nice sound when you crack it! The caramel chocolate cake was a tiny little disappointing as I couldn’t really taste much of the caramel. But nonetheless, the place has a good atmosphere to chill and hang out with friends.
Excellent friendly service! We walk here every weekend (Saturday $ Sunday) – and pretty much every morning we don’t have to work! We walk here with our dog and the coffee is consistently excellent. The service is friendly and the coffee comes quickly – Highly rate the banana bread and croissants too!
