Walked in and just grabbed a seat without being greeted or anything. We assumed that it’s a counter service as a staff just Kept standing inside the counter and did let us know anything. Then we went to the side dish display fridge and asked a question regarding a dish, but the staff couldn’t really answer what it was and went ti get someone from the kitchen. We just wondered if this place only served Taiwanese or Chinese so they weren’t aware there might be customers from different cultures who might not be familiar with the food/items on the menu. We eventually ordered a bento set adding $1 hot&sour soup and a prawn&pork noodle soup. The meals were served in a short time and all were nice and generous just like mums cooked and served their children. Loved the soup taste but preferred firmer noodle.
So this place is a Taiwanese restaurant and Excellent Cup bubble tea in one.Good value for money dishes, nothing to complain about. Soup is nice, as are the bento boxes. The hot and sour soup for $1 with the set meals is huge though FYI

I visited here on Friday for lunch and ordered the Taiwanese Braised pork belly bento, and when you read braised you expect it to be super tender which unfortunately it wasn’t but it was still ok and had some nice flavours going on. The bento box also included rice which was nice and also tofu, which was cooked but had an interesting flavour which I wasn’t really a fan of. There was also some egg and cabbage included.Service was reasonably quick, staff are friendly and the restaurant is very easy to access. Many authentic Asian dishes on the menu at a super reasonable price. My bento box was just $12.50.
