Agree with Shorty & Joe, I have no problem in recommending this restaurant. When you peruse the menu, you will be amazing how how chefs can prepare so many varieties of food to diners. Besides traditional Vietnamese street-food, it does offer some sort like Chinese dishes serving in Vietnam. Not absolutely Chinese cuisine but fused Chinese with Vietnamese style. Ordered the crab bisque & tomatoes vermicelli, Crispy chicken noodles soup, Vietnamese Spring Rolls and a dish of Pipi in XO sauce. Hero should be the vermicelli, which was soaked in a well prepared tomatoes soup base with strong crab meat flavour. Noodles with the chicken were elastic and the chicken skin was crispy. Loved to wrap the spring rolls in a lettuce and mixed with other herbs then dipped into the fish sauces, yummy! The only let down is the pipi dish because the type of pipi selected was not full with meat; however, the chili flavour still made my thumb-up. Another good spot for Vietnamese food in Southside.

I am liking this new vietnamese restraunt. This is my second time to visit this place. My first impression of this restaurant is wow they must be loaded! In a way that interior and decorations seem expensive with TV screens showing photos of menu, lots of lightings and nice outdoor area. They also opened HK Malaysia next door which they operate together. You can chose from their menu as well which I appreciated. Customer service was ok, some were nice and friendly, some were abrupt and in a hurry which I didnt find too much of a problem.Ordered vermicelli salad with grilled pork and spring roll. My partner ordered food from HK Malaysia menu(will put review on their page). Food came out pretty fast, ingredients were fresh and tasty. Grilled pork were well marinated. Spring roll were a little on burnt side but was crispy and enjoyed its texture.Look forward to try more of their menus.

Pho is nice, tho portion is a bit too small for the price charged. Pork chop with rice, SO BAD! The rice is overcooked, so its very dry. Pork chop is half cooked

Just opened great service from David and the girls.Had the Nasi Lemak, and white coffee.Beef Rendang was very tender and tasty. Can’t wait to try other dishes.HK Malaysian is next door and at this time both are using the main kitchen on the Vietnam side.Seating both inside and outside, quite clean and spacious.I will come back and bring our regulars.Keep up the great food

This new restaurant opened a fortnight ago. It is next door to the ex-Taste of Penang. Tastefully decorated and comfortably cool we sit ourselves down. We place our order from a comprehensive menu and sip on the complimentary iced water. The Combination Pho Dac Biet is served piping hot and the broth is authentic and tasty. I see a decent serve of fresh pho noodles, sliced beef and raw beef but the beef tripe and tendon is missing! New restaurant with teething problems so we will give them another try next month.
