Dougs is another of my familys go-to restaurants. The servings are generous and the food is generally quite enjoyable. However, in recent years it appears that the batter Dougs uses for its fish and potato scallops etc. has changed and now has a floury taste to it. I no longer order certain menu items due to this. Whilst Dougs has improved its look of late, the ambience is still very no frills/down to earth compared to other restaurants along the foreshore. I recommend ordering the grilled fish with Greek salad and enjoying the beachfront views!
