Haven’t been for a while, not since new management. What an improvement! Tried the tasting plate on a glorious afternoon. The view is spectacular – the food was better..The lamb ribs especially had a nice tang, succulent and juicy. The duck spring rolls were excellent as well as the pork buns. Service was impeccable. Congratulations.
As we’re staying the Oceans resort this was the nearest place and we decided to give it a go. Pleased to say that the food here has been excllent. So much so we’ve only been to one other place during our stay in Hervey Bay and will be going back there tonnight for the last meal out of our holiday. My partner has coeliac disease and we are always delighted to find somewhere that we can trust when it comes to gluten free labels on the menu. The service is pretty much what you’d expect from a tavern – find your own table, order at the desk, and so on but the staff took our requirements seriously and were very friendly and accomodating.
