Clearly popular, even the locals told us this was the place for fish and chips. We got takeaway from here twice and on suggestion, pre-ordered which ended up being an excellent idea – take this feedback on board and either drop in early to place your order, or do a phone order! It was ALWAYS busy, even early in the morning! They have great specials and lots of choices. They are also happy to do one serve battered/crumbed and one serve grilled at no extra charge which is always appreciated. Nice sized servings, not too big and definitely not too small. Top spot, I’m glad we went more than once.

Great local fish and chip shop with a large variety of fresh local fish in the front window. Anything local and fresh is cooked beautifully. Local prawns and fish are great. The only letdown for me is despite the quality of local produce, this place is still a bit stuck in a decade past as a local, not gourmet, fish shop. The only family pack or seafood pack option contains less fish and more junk like dim sims, fish stick, potato scallop, chicken nuggets made with compressed meat etc. and everything battered, not crumbed. I think the oil needed a change too. An establishment of this quality should bring their menu up to the same standard as the food they are capable of serving like so many good fish shops in Brisbane and the coasts. Stick with ordering local fish and prawn options and you’ll do well.Lovely staff and despite being very popular they pump out the orders pretty fast.

Ok so I don’t give out 5 star ratings very often but this is a very worthy rating. Being a very fussy fish eater and living in Melbourne for the past 5 years I never found decent fish and chips. After reading the reviews for this place I was eager to give it a go. Luckily we phoned our order through being Mother’s Day was a 1hr wait. We ordered 2 x fish and chips (snapper) it was hand down the best we have ever had. Snapper cooked perfectly with a crunchy golden crumb and no oil to be seen. The chips equally perfect light and fluffy on the inside with a nice crunch. Please don’t ever change you have the most amazing quality and good to see no matter how busy you are that it isn’t compromised.

The fish and chips are very nice from here and the portion sizes are generous while being reasonably priced (cant go wrong with salmon chips and salad for $13.80) They have a small fresh seafood display and the customer service is always friendly. I usually put in phone order to pick up as they do get busy.
