We tried to re-visit the Malacca Malay at the Market Place of Logan Hyperdome, unfortunately it was not opened (it sure if permanently closed) so we changed to visit this local Chinese restaurant. By the look of it, this restaurant seemed to be a popular place for locals gathering because it was quite busy last night. Service was very friendly and hospitable. After I read the menu, it seemed this restaurant try to fuse the Thai and Chinese cuisine. We ordered the chef signature of combination seafood satay, Duck with mushroom, a chicken pad Thai and my favourite seafood Tom yum. Dishes came to the table unexpectedly quick. Overall portions were generous. Tom yum was not rich enough in flavour. Let down was on the Pad Thai, there were lots of rooms to be improved. Seafood satay deserved thumb-up with good tasteful satay flavour. Hero should be the duck dish, where duck pieces were prepared perfectly tendered. Sauce was thickened in appropriate degree so it was not too thin or too thick. The last two dishes gained marks back.
