I went to Sizzlers at the Logan Hyperdome today for lunch. I was pleased with the cheese toast which is always a hit. When we were waiting to pay I was concerned that there was only one staff member working the cashier as there were quite a few people lined up. The staff werent the friendliest but they werent rude or anything. Overall it was an okay experience but I wouldnt go back for a while.
I think sizzlers lunch menu is good value for money. I cant complain when I get so many salads to choose from for just $17. And if u ask me I think the salads are done well. So thanks sizzler hyperdome for staying open u provide me with not just good food(the always excellent cheese toasts) but a trip down memory lane. Thx
Go for the nostalgia. Not the food, not the ambiance, just the nostalgia. Been 10 years since I’ve been to sizzler and all was as usual. Big wait in line. Couldn’t remember having to ask for my drinks glass though. Cheese toast was cold. 🙁 very sad. Worst part are the feral vultures hanging at your elbow. And the ass cracks. Even so enjoyed my mix up lunch of nachos, spaghetti, potato bake, apple crumble, pav and soft serve. Probably be another 10 years before I go again.
Expect to wait in line at the door for at least 10 mins, unsure why there is only one person manning the front desk when there is a line out the door on a busy Saturday lunch time? Is it purely to create hype or poor management. The big draw cards here are cheese toast, the all you can eat style buffet and steaks. I had a medium well eye fillet, it was absolutely perfect and cooked well the creamy mash was possibly deb instant mash? But I actually like it. Our cheese toast was cold. There are a multitude of salads but most tend to go for the soups, pasta and nachos. The ambience lends it being a family friendly atmosphere so not the place for a first date or a quiet evening by any means but that is a well known feature about sizzler.Excellent place if you have a big appetite, a fussy eater or have kids.
As far as buffet style food goes, Sizzler at the Hyperdome is quite ok. Plus I’m always tempted by their cheesy bread! I normally get he salad bar which is from memory around $20-$25 for an adult and it’s all you can eat! I love getting the pumpkin soup as a starter and enjoying it my cheesy bread. Then moving onto the pasta and then the salads and then the desert!
This restaurant is a lot better than Hog’s breath Cafe next door. Although it is pain that you can never reserve a table and need to follow the queue at rush hour, I find that it won’t take a long time. I like the idea of serving the nice cheese toast which is the main attractive item at this restaurant. Salad bar is so spectacualr and famous that even some restaurant adopt the idea. Quality of steak is reasonable and so is the price. Ambient is ok but don’t expect that it is quite and romantic though.
Giant buffet but really whole lot of nothing I also had a 220gram rib fillet was over cooked ment to be medium very thin lucky to be 220 grams at best packet mix gravy hardly any chips appox 12 on the plate and they don’t do chicken….. Children’s nuggets were nice from the kids menu and bottomless soft drink only positives from this visit
