Used to visit Toscani’s a long while ago mainly for coffee. Somewhere along the line the coffee went bad so stopped. A revisit recently proved they got there mojo back. Ordered a flat white with a double shot & the coffee came looking & tasting pretty good
Not a fancy restaurant but a solid pub style meal. Well enjoyed. Couldn’t fault the service, waitress was great. She noticed I was heavily pregnant and took note that I would need fish cooked fully etc and checked it was done appropriately. Will be back.
Would suggest any dish from the pasta range, my favourite is the fettuccine carbonara which is to die for. Always good service, relaxed atmosphere and they are licensed so its not to have a wine and a meal before or after a movie. Well worth the visit.
I had brunch at Toscani’s. I ordered a large latte and the smashed avocado with added haloumi. The ‘smashed’ avo was a puree ago base and slices of fresh avo on top, both of which were tasteless and had no flavour.Latte was burnt.Wait staff were polite and pleasant when taking a delivery the order but were very absent. There was no pepper on the table which the was really needed considering how bland the dish was, and none was offered.
