The food was nice and fresh. The ambiance could improve by dimming the lights for customers that choose to dine in. Great takeaway place if in Daisy Hill area.

Used to be a fantastic place to eat with food packed with flavour. Then we started noticing that the flavours started to become dull, even when we asked for additional spices / chilli (for example chilli beef. I’m not sure whether it is due to customers repeatedly requesting to tone-down the food or whether they’ve just changed how they make things.Would definitely love to come back and eat there as the prices and service were fantastic – we would just would love more spice!

This was the first time that I had been to Daisy Thai but had been to the restaurant by the same owners that was in Daisy Hill a couple of years ago. The food and service was just a good as I remember from the other restaurant. The people that we went with to the new restaurant had been there a couple of times and remarked it had been good! The restaurant itself is quite small, and you would not be able to fit a large number of customers. We were glad that we booked. It appears that Daisy Thai predominately caters for takeaway, as while we were dining, plenty of customer came and ordered takeaway. It is situated in a little hub on Chatswood Road and there is plenty of parking. The restaurant is BYO, and there is a bottle shop a few stores down for ease. We ordered some entrees to share at the beginning. We tried the Satay Chicken Skewers, Coconut Prawns, and Money Bags. The Money Bags were nice, but no better than any others. The Coconut Prawns were equally as good, but the coconut batter was a little doughy. The skewers were the nicest, with a generous amount of Satay Sauce to go with the chicken. For mains, we ordered Duck Red Curry, Spicy Dry Curry with Crispy Pork, Fish Fillet Ginger, and Chicken Pad Hokkien. The Hokkien was everyone’s least favourite, and was no more than a simple stir fry with Hokkien noodles. The Ginger Fish and Dry Curry both had nice flavours. We tried the Crispy Pork with the Dry Curry as something different and it complimented well with the curry. The Duck Red Curry was well received, with a nice mixture of sweetness and spiciness. There was plenty of Duck and it was nice and tender. The Lychees helped give the sweet flavour. None of the meals were overly spicy, and if anything, the curries could have done with a bit more kick. As there are so many Thai restaurants around, Daisy Thai was good but I wouldn’t say it is the best. But it is still a nice place to try.

This is the second time I’ve eaten take away from Daisy Thai. I had a massaman curry with rice. The take away was ready quickly and all ingredients were fresh and the dish had a lovely flavor. Best Thai in Springwood.

Really nice food. Takeaway can be a bit slow over the weekend so order a bit in advance. The restaurant itself is very cosy and comfortable. If you love coconut rice as much as I do and want to have enough for leftovers the next day, order two servings as even the large size is a bit skimpy.

This place is so good. Tried a few things on their menu and everything has tasted amazing. The main dish we enjoy is the beef massaman curry. Others you need to try is the soft shell crab and their warm salads are always good. It’s a good restaurant to either eat in with a BWS right next door or they are quick for your take away order.

A really great little thai place. Very friendly staff and quick service. The food is delicious and they work hard to impress. Been here many times.
