We had dinner at Cucina on Australia Day night. The staff were friendly and considerate of our 1-year-old. We could also see the fireworks from our table (partial view). The restaurant was quite busy, but not flat out. My husband enjoyed his pasta dish and we were impressed with the Arancini entree that we ordered for our son. The Arancini was a very generous serve and probably our son and I should have shared it. I had the 200g steak and it was very bad. It appeared that it had not been rested sufficiently as blood oozed into the creamy sauce and it tasted revolting.Worse still I could still taste the blood six hours later and felt quite unwell from it. Whilst we may return, I urge people to avoid the steak. (Funnily enough, I just had a Lite N Easy steak and it was 100 times better).
Overpriced, condescending staff, food takes way too long, the most average food Ive ever tasted, I think its best to just shut the place down.
Nothing beats a good spag bowl. Loved my spaghetti. Staff were friendly, had a good ambiance and location. Food took a little while but was satisfying. Overall a good experience.
We came here on Saturday night. I ordered the lamb shanks — the sauce was delicious and the meat was tender — full marks! Good location and service, will be back
Waited an hour and 15 mins for the food to reach our table… took 55 mins for them to serve us water after being seated. Food was horrible, pizza rubbery and returned back. Gnocchi & risotto below average … our poor server was yelled at for checking on food for us…never coming back again. Thanks for screwing my New Years Eve.
Service was horrible. We have been staying at Ronald McDonald house for the last week and was wanting an actual meal. We definitely didnt get that. Drinks were served after the meal and one drink was completely forgotten. My meal was slow cooked lamb shanks, def was not slow cooked, it was fatty and couldnt cut thru the fat to get any meat and what meat there was it was hard and burnt, it was inedible, my sister ordered chicken fettuccine carbonara and it came out with no chicken. My partner ordered a pizza with no tomato and guess what tomatoes on it. We should of checked reviews, as it was the worst meal ever.
Food was excellent, service was amazing but the music was a bit too loud & I could barely hear my partner sitting right next to me. Other than that, a great dining experience!
