Visited this venue earlier when it was trading under another name, the coffee then was Rouge now they run with Glee roast. Another great brew very smooth & rich with aroma & tones. They offer an array of products for take home use. Also tried the smashed avocado which came with generous hunks of feta & dukkah
Discovered this new opening of this roaster at South Brisbane last night and gave it a go this morning. I was lucky to have the on-site parking as an early bird. Walked in and found that they provide quite a large venue for diners. Ordered a flat white and a Vege wrap. As a rule of thumb, I always have no problem with the coffee which is done on the site of roaster; this place is no exception. Coffee was well presented with a very nice and delicate art. Its smoothness won my appreciation. Next came to the table was the wrap, which was slightly toasted. Bread was soft and the contents deserved thumb-up in terms of varieties of vegetables and the balance of taste. I particularly love the eggplant because it is the first time that I have eggplant in a wrap and they match well with the other vegetables such as pumpkin and avocado. Another nice coffee spot in South Brisbane. Cheers!
