What a fabulous venue! The owners kindly opened at 6am for us so we could eat breakfast before attending an event. The breakfast was delicious and well presented. Coffee was also lovely. Thank you for being so accommodating.
Not an overly great experience here on a rainy Sunday morning for brunch. I’ll start with the fact it’s fairly overpriced given no table service. We asked for a donut to be bought out before the breakky meals too, but it came after (and had cold bits inside despite being warmed up?).My meal was ok. Smashed Avo and feta on Turkish bread – a little oily but wasn’t bad. My partner, however, had a quite enjoyable Big Breakfast. Bacon was dry, eggs were flavourless and the bread was stale.Coffee was better alright but was hard to look past everything that preceded it.
Nice little cafe in busy Southbank. My banana muffin was really nice, hard to find a better muffin to be fair. Coffee really nice as well. Well priced. Menu is good, nothing outstanding. Service is good and friendly. Not as clean as should be and decor could do with an update. Could be altered for a more comfortable setting. Overall very nice.
Consistently good coffee, service and food an easy choice for breakfast or lunch in South Bank. Indoor and outdoor seating available with umbrellas for coverage.
We were looking for a great eggs benny breakfast and came across this cafe in Southbank, next door to the cinemas. It has nice decor and a menu that seems somewhat Italian in influence.Prices were reasonable too.We were greeted quickly and warmly and the great service continued from there. We started with a pomegranate & raspberry frappe for me, lychee & green tea for him. Both were delicious and refreshing. Our eggs benny were good, lovely soft poached eggs on spinach and bacon, served with plenty of sauce on ciabatta toast. Our coffees were really good, I hadn’t heard of the brand of coffee they use, Two Trees, but it was delicious. We appreciated the waitress ensured they came with our meals, just as we had asked for.
Have it a one for the coffee. Food was terrible and the wait at 730 in the morning was inexplicable. Would not return despite the very limited choices in the area.
Got two smoothies here on good Friday, cost me $18+ and if it wasn’t for the cost I would have thrown mine in the bin after the first sip (and my brother was the same). Runny, flavourless and just all around terrible. Really disappointing as I thought the menu looked good and was excited to try it out, sadly we were told the kitchen was closed, even though it was just before 2pm.
