Have been wanting to try Junk Asian for a while now so was great to finally get there today for lunch. I ordered the Sticky beef and some rice (unfortunately they are two seperate menu items), and whilst the meat was crispy and tender, the flavour just wasnt all there…the dish had a very strong honey flavour and that was about it. I couldnt really taste much else. There was mention of crispy garlic, pickled radish and Asian herbs but I couldnt really taste anything but the honey :/. Its a cool little place in a great location but yep flavour could be improved on the Sticky beef.
