I will review this place although I only had a hot chocolate. There was an amazing line to be served, I mean the place was packed. But for a pretty good reason, it was a pretty damn good hot chocolate. A little too rich for my liking but I think that was the point of this place.
This location of Max Brenner is always bustling with people – even on a rainy day! We decided to stop here for some dessert and were not disappointed.We ordered the chocolate fondue for two and this was shared between three people. The chocolate fondue was extremely decadent. This dessert comes with milk chocolate and dark chocolate. I am not usually a big fan of dark chocolate but I must say I thoroughly enjoyed the dark chocolate fondue. It was not too bitter and had a much richer taste. The bananas were delicious however, about half of the strawberries provided were a bit soft or had odd dents in them. The strawberries were not very sweet either but was fine as they were dipped in sweet chocolate anyway. The marshmallows are general pascall marshmallows that can be found at the supermarket. The banana bread was not very nice either. It was very bread-y and tasted very much like commercial banana bread. The experience was fun and some aspects of the fondue experience were good.Overall the fondue for two was a fun experience but the tastes were not the best. The waffles and souffles on display looked very delicious and I would love to order those in the future if I were to return.

Pleasant surprise to receive a great flat white in a chocolte shop. I have visited Max Brenner prior to this & scored badly with coffee but thumbs up on chocolate (to be expected) My flat white was well presented & robust without any bitterness . Loved the brightly coloured interior with options to buy all sorts of memorabilia & service was beautiful too
Iv had a few different meal choices here and it is always good and exactly what it says it is on the menu great value for money, and staff are always friendly and welcoming .
The food is decent and tasty but it is extremely overpriced and the waiting time at times is terribly long. Although not bad if you want something casual and quick that’s really sweet
Sad to hear that majority of their stores have closed down…especially Carindale , now I have to travel further to satisfy my chocolate cravings.
