Its very hot today and ice cream was a perfect companion. I got mango sorbet. I think they make the ice cream with liquid nitrogen. The mango sorbet was good, a bit too sweet for me but it had strong mango flavour. My friend got lemon meringue but I prefer mango. Unfortunately, this ice cream melts fast. You have to eat it as fast as you can.

Yummy and a really rad concept. Even the vanilla is pretty flavourful and smoother than a milky cloud. A bit whack in pricing and a large when shared seems small but still awesome. Nice sweet treat perfect for a not too warm day because although delicious it needs to be eaten quick.

Great tasting icecream, and such amazing texture. I absolutely loved the mango sorbet icecream. It felt like I was biting into a delicious, ripe mango. I also had the nutella cornucopia icecream. Delicious! Love the decor too.

Classic range of nitro ice creams with plenty of flair. Word of warning, you have eat these suckers fast as they tend to melt faster than your average ice cream.

Like The Invisible Food Critic, the best part of my visit to Nitrogenie was the theatrics of the liquid nitrogen fog and the step by step explanation from the young woman who served the ice cream.I didn’t enjoy the texture – it is exceptionally smooth and homogeneous, but quite boring as well. The VanillaBeanie flavor wasn’t great and at $7.50 for a small cup it is very overpriced.Half of my ice cream ended up in the bin because I just wasn’t interested in continuing to eat it – maybe the VanillaBeanie was just a bad choice.

Nitrogenie is an ice cream dream come true. It’s so creamy and yummy. Loads of fun, choosing my flavours and watching my ice cream being made. I ordered quite a few, so I can’t quite remember them all, but the mango is one of the yummiest liquid nitrogen ice cream I’ve ever tasted! Can’t wait to be back in Brisbane!xm

This place is great, especially for the little ones. Watching. The ice cream being made was rather fun, and the taste was flavoursome whilst the texture being smooth and very creamy. Great variety of flavours, would frequent again if closer to home.
