Absolutely loved my meal and the experience at Sam Kai. From friendly staff, great ambiance and great food you cant go wrong. My boyfriend and I shared for a entree the calamari, gyoza and a pork bun and for a main we had the foot long soft shell crab sushi roll, fried rice and the Buta Shogayaki, everything was delicious! We will definitely be back to try more meals on the menu.
I’ve been here before and had the vege yaki soba and enjoyed it so I thought I would order it again. When it came out it looked a bit different with what looked like onion skin on top. I was very hungry so I started eating it fast. I chewed something which tasted weird. A few minutes later I noticed chunks of meat all throughout the dish. We had specifically asked for vege yaki soba – no. 41. It was very upsetting to me that I had eaten meat. Quite distressing too. They apologised and bought out the vegetarian version quickly. No discount was given as a result of this error.
