Found this place while walking past and noticed their 1 Kg of Wings for $12 for Wednesdays only sign. The bartender was really nice, super friendly and always open for a good chat. I was craving wings at the time and found that this was so cheap (as 12 wings are usually $15) so I had to give it a try! I ordered the wings in a BBQ sauce, it was tasty but I didnt enjoy it as much as it was drenched with so much of the sauce that it was very messy and salty. It had a very nice charcoal taste to it though but it wouldve been better if they reduced the sauce or put the extra sauce on the side.

So bad for the price. To start with ordered a coke and for some reason it was just a tiny can?! Next came the vegan hotdogs. So tasteless with a yucky texture. We already know the bun is from Brumby’s cause it says on the menu, so I could just buy that and add a vegetarian hotdog with mustard and ketchup and a thin slice of cheese and that’s all it was. Fries were also very ordinary. Added up to $50 for 2 fries, vegandogs and drinks.

Stumbled across this place because I wanted to try something different. There’s a massive burger scene down in Sydney so i wanted to see if Brisbane has lifted it’s game. Unfortunately, I left disappointed after some high hopes.First thing I saw was a simple burger menu. Single, double, triple, quadruple cheeseburgers. There was also a chicken one available. I thought to myself that this would mean a solid and mean burger! Boy was I wrong!!I ordered the double burger. It wasn’t bad price wise. It wasn’t even a bad looking burger. The taste though just wasn’t there. All i could taste was pepper and salt. My last bite was the worst. It was like putting taking a teaspoon of only salt and pepper. The meat was average and one of my patties was burnt. The fries were bland… the salt and pepper in the patties should have been there! It seems like a cool place to hang out and the staff are friendly. Relaxed atmosphere. Brooklyn Lager on sale gives it some redemption. Would be good though if they had a wider selection of other american beers.Would come for a drink again… but I would think twive about food.*****Take note that this is of course all based on my unqualified opinion! My considerations: 1. Food 2. Value 3. Service 4. Atmosphere
