Very disappointed with lunch today.. the steak sandwiches were on stale bread with a teeny tiny piece of steak. Definitely not worth $24 for mostly stale bread. Sad as the food here used to be great

Very expensive for what it is. Some of the staff (not all) have attitude problems. Chicken parmigiana was ok but quite small for $26. Drink prices are up there. Won’t be back in a hurry.

We came here for brunch and it was fairly busy My wife had the pasta which was a vegetarian dish and the dish didnt come with chicken or meat the lady at the counter asked if we could add chicken but the kitchen said no which was fair enough but very strangeMy two cousins had the Steak Eye fillet and they enjoyed it but said it wasnt medium rare but more on the well done side, small portion for $36I had the fish and chips and it was a small portion more like a kids mealThe orange juice however was very nice

We came here for a Sunday lunch and Im glad we arrived when we did. It was busy and it wasnt even midday! We did struggle to find a table, there were ones available but they were in the sun which with a toddler, isnt ideal. The place looks huge but actually seating is quite limited (if youre looking for a spot downstairs so you dont have to carry a pram upstairs!)We ordered at the counter and it was a simple and smooth process. You serve yourself condiments and cutlery, and food comes out using a buzzer system. I really like that sparkling water is free of charge one of my biggest pet hates with restaurants and bars is when they charge for this (and charge a lot) so huge props to Plough Inn for free sparkling water! My husband ordered the steak sandwich which he enjoyed and it was a good sized serving. My choice was the parmigiana and it was really good one of the better ones Ive had at pubs across Brisbane. The size was good, chicken was still very juicy and well cooked, crumb was crunchy, sauce was really flavoursome and a good amount of cheese and ham on top. I really enjoyed it. The side salad came undressed which made it a little blah to eat but the chips were good so all up, missing a little salad dressing wasnt a big deal.Terrific value being on the Entertainment Card, I really enjoyed our lunch here and would recommend for a good pub meal. lifelovetravelfood.wordpress.com

Since the Eumundi group took over, beer prices have increased and measly 5% staff discount for Southbank employees has gone! Guess when you pay $15 million for a venue, you’ve gotta squeeze the cash from someone.

$50 rip off…We ordered the seafood share plate…OMG what a disapointment.A over cooked dried out half a bug each. Then to share 3 small tempura prawn, 2 dusted calamari,2 sliders with a splash of crab and mayo 2 mini skewers a bit of lettuce.Beer and a house wine are $10 a glass..Look elsewhere guys and gals as there are better value for MONEY around.

Loud but happy atmosphere. Grab some friends, check out the late arvo Sunday entertainment and order one of the interesting but classic meals on the menu. They are busy but organised.
