As I travel to Brisbane for work I explored what this place has to offer – I have to say that I will never set foot in the place again with the quality of food being very poor – when the waitress asked me how was my bruschetta and told her it was burnt she looked at me and said thats great and walked away – seriously? Is that what u say when a customer is not satisfied with the result of his meal.
Having travelled here as a family group we thought we’d give it a shot. However, we were bitterly disappointed.Initially we were greeted by a waiter who appeared friendly and sat us down. A waiter by the name of Steph approached us and told us shed be taking charge of our table for the night, however this is where it ended. She never appeared for the remainder of the night despite us sitting right next to the bar it took a considerable amount of time to grab the waiters attention.We choose from a variety of dishes, namely the Ravioli Pollo Peperonico, Fettucine Puttanesca and Rise Gamberi Pomodoro. All three meals were suffering from a lack of quality and freshness and all left a sour taste on our palette.The Ravioli portion size was small, cold and the meat within tasted bland and uncooked. The dish lacked any real outstanding flavours.The Puttanesca was probably the highlight of the three dishes. It was cooked well however again lacking quality ingredients (quite evident) and was again cold and bland.The Risotto was cold also, cluggy and chunky. A risotto will always be heavier to stomach due to the rice and the cream but this risotto tasted far worse than expected. The prawns tasted such that they were straight out of a packet, tossed lightly and the result was served to us.Generally the poor service and food combined to leave us with a less than desirable dinning outcome. The pricing is high given the quality of the service and quality of the dishes.
