Meat is nicely done, we had pork and lamb, both very tender and flavourful cooked on the spit. Pita was also quite nice. Loukomathes (donuts) were fresh and tasty. The thing that let down the experience were the handful size serving of chips – for a whopping $6.50, and the calamari which was so oily it was inedible, and expensive at $14.50, as well as the tiny portion of tzatziki – about 1 tablespoon. Overall, not bad though!
Today at Southbank I decided to revisit this shop as I hadn’t been there in a while.I was surprised at how quiet it was compared to how it used to be before but the food seems to have a similar quality as before. Not long after ordering I was served my Fimi Falafel Yiros, it was not impressive but still managed to fit for a decent dinner, with a couple of veggies inside and the beetroot hummus it managed to pair well with the falafel which would have been a bit dry otherwise.Overall I enjoyed my meal and my friend was also happy with his yiros.
