Just had a take away meal that was really tasty and fresh. You can tell the difference texturally in the noodles being made fresh. Great job.
Fantastic FRESH food, fantastic service! The amazing Lan Zhou La Mian noodle is only available weekends and is a delight. Made by simmering beef and chicken bones slowly (8 hours in fact!) the flavour is exquisite – no artificial anything in sight! Have tried a wide range of noodles, dumplings and rice dishes and have not had any cause for complaint. Authentic Chinese noodle dining at a very reasonable price. Service is exceptional every time. 5 stars.
Great service, less than average food. We decided to try this to find out if the mixed reviews from friends were true. Parking is an exercise in strategical planning because it sits right at the corner of Perth and Hume streets where there are not a lot of available parking slots. We had to park on the side street of the Salem Lutheran nursing home to make sure our car won’t get towed.We were greeted by a very cheerful girl at the door and were given the menu. Usual stir fried noodles, dumplings, fried rice. The noodles are made in the premises so they can be irregular. We ordered three kinds of stir fried noodles which we found a bit bland for our taste. We have tasted better. The dumplings were less than average. We have tried off the freezer dumplings that were better. The fried rice was average. What made the visit interesting was the great service. The owners were always smiling and their daughter was a real delight. We came in 15 minutes before closing time but they still entertained us and waited for us until we finished eating. If only for the great service, we will be back.
Words of advice from a regular visitor… Whilst parking is an issue, the service provided by the owners and their daughter, as well as the quality selection of items on the menu, will guarantee that you too will become a regular visitor to this Noodle bar. My entire family loves it and we try to support the businesses that provide excellent service to their patrons. Service is always gracious and prompt, and the food is really delicious.
Yum, Yum, Yum!!!. Wow, real Chinese food, at last somewhere that doesnt use sauces out of a tin or bottle. Noodles are soft and dumplings home made, all so delicious. This place really puts the franchised noodle outlets to shame. I drive from the other side of town for Noodle Magic. Havent been disappointed yet. The owners are very friendly and welcoming and food is prepared pronto! Im always looking for an excuse to get take-away since this place opened.
Best take-away noodles I’ve had. I got the Singapore Noodles with a side of dumplings and they were really good. Everything was made fresh right in front of me and it was ready in just a few minutes. Parking is an issue, but the food definitely makes up for it…
Absolutely love it. Sitting here right now, fresh food, top notch service with extremely friendly people and a gorgeous little girl who you just can’t say no to. Well done, we will definitely be back more.
