Really good thai! Lately Dee’s has been producing some good food. Try the MKT’s as a starter.

Good value. Overall I feel I got a good deal here. Eating at a table for two, we ordered fried rice, pad thai and tom yum. I specifically requested Thai-style spicy hot tom yum, but it was barely spicy at all. For a good tom yum, it has to have a balance of sour, sweet and salty. Typically, these flavours are achieved with lime, palm sugar and fish sauce. The tom yum soup I experienced here was not made with these ingedients, and tasted inferior accordingly. The staff were friendly even though it quickly got busy soon after opening. The serving sizes were very generous and the pad thai noodles were well cooked. For the authentic flavours, those with an eye for detail (as far as taste buds go!) may want to lower their expectations a little.Overall pleasant.

Sorry to say but I was not impressed with this restaurant at all. From the moment we walked in the service was very slow and staff we confused asking to take our order twice. The curries we mainly bulked with vegetables and little meat. I have eaten at some very nice western Thai restaurants with the same Red/Green/Massaman curries etc but the curries at Dee’s had no flavour little resemblance to the curries experienced in Thailand or places like the spirit house. If restaurants like Dee’s feel they can charge $15+ for a plate then it really needs to be of a higher quality. I guess for those who do not know any better it will be a similar experience to all the western Chinese restaurants around the South East. Nice try but a long way off the mark.

Just a Great Meal. I have been to Dee’s many, many times & it is always a wonderful meal. The service is friendly and the food is always very good. Everything always tastes very fresh and is served in a very generous portion.

Dee’s Thai would have to be my top choice for Thai in Toowoomba. Always full of lean meat, full of flavor and friendly service.
