Explored this cafe in the morning. Very nice layout with contemporary setting. High ceiling is always the advantage in shaping the comfort vibe. The extended counter with many staff working on reflects its busy during lunch time. Ordered the flat white and Bacon & Egg Roll. Coffee was made of Campos, which show-cased baristas pouring skill in terms of smoothness while the strength was average. Love the softness of the bread roll. One may said that the overall size of the roll might be small; yet, I found it was very enjoyable if you aim for quality but not the quantity. Cheers!
A great little spot for a business brunch or lunch. The coffee was good which is always a great start, and the menu wasn’t too extensive but also had some variety – the paleo plate was a protein packed way to start the day.
This is my morning and lunch regular haunt. The mornings are great with a fresh campos coffee, the baristas are always good, conversations and atmosphere are always A-grade. Lunch options are plentiful and very tasty with the on-site chef and owner, Anthony, up for a chat and dropping good chat. If you’re looking for the best coffee and food in the valley, Go here.
Edit: I gave them another go- the rude girl hasn’t been in every time and guess what- it’s like someone flicked a light switch and the place is awesome. Happy to spend all my lunch money there now. Love all the banter with the friendly people- for me the food tastes better and I walk off happy. Well done 🙂 Meh- it’s ok but there is something kind of off about this place. I think you have to be an extreme regular in order to receive a smile or a thank you and they make it really obvious. Have been here several times- the girl with blond hair and big teeth is not so friendly- possibly an owner? I saw her have a laugh about my name the first time I gave it to her- today she pulled a face.. sorry it’s not normal enough for you. Campos coffee is ok- some of the brekky specials are ok- this toastie and coffee were $9 something.
Thought I would have some meatballs and rice. Watched as 7 meatballs were placed on rice, asked for a couple more, no such luck. With a can of coke cost $13,.Not good for a new establishment to be so pricey, or was it the attitude of staff. Lost me, going back to Carvery across road.
