Nice setting outside and friendly and helpful staff but the food was mediocre at best and certainly not of the standard required for the prices charged. The one exception was the cookies and cream cake which was excellent. However, it turns out this is sourced externally and only decorated in the restaurant
Had a groupon deal of 3 course dinner with drink at this place which located inside a hotel as in-house restaurant. It was a chaotic night. The restaurant was opened at 5:30pm and there was a group of six and a group of two diners were there waiting to be served while we were arriving at 6:00pm. We wereall told to take a seat and the wait-staff would be coming a second. Moreover, weretold that food would not start to be served not until 6:30pm. After 30 minutes of waiting time (itwas alright because we arrived too early as webooked at 6:30pm), there was a waiter starting to take orders for the large group. However, the newcomer approached the bar and the waiter had to take the NEW drink orders and left behind the hungry diners. To be honest, thatwaiter’ performance was veryproficient, however, it is hard to handle so many diners by just one staff. Without this smart waiter, I think I would stand up and go! Well,the only comment on the food is mediocre but the chef left me a verygood record of having a well-done steakout of the expected med-rare since 10 years ago in Australia. Good on you………
We actually had a coupon deal at GT’s for breakfast. Lovely setting overlooking the Aquatic Centre so great open space & you can dine next to the pool at the Motel. We ordered out flat whites which were definitely not flat & they were pretty weak which was disappointing as it was Di Bella coffee. The omelettes made up for the disappointing flat whites however. They were just as we like them nicely browned & fluffy with lots of fillings. Just improve the coffee please
