Today I ordered the Vietnamese Grilled Chicken Burger honey bacon cucumber and slaw with fries $17.90If a scale of 0 to 10 is used to describe the hardness of the bun where 0 is very soft and 10 is like rock, my bun was an 8. Surely the chef preparing the bun would have known the bun was on the hard side.Some say maybe the bun was fresh and it was meant to be.. maybe – it doesnt disguise the fact that it was HARD.In terms of Vietnamese flavour – hard to find any with this item. When I think of Vietnamese chilli, fresh coriander, fish sauce, fresh Vietnamese mint and herbs come to mind.Service was fast. Based on my experience I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone. They didnt even ask if I enjoyed my meal.I’ve worked in restaurants for over 8 years and this was one of the most disappointing meals I have come across.
I have just had the worst experience here. I have never in my life been treated so poorly. There are no words to explained just how bad and rude the service is here.
Have come to this place for lunch for the third time now during a business trip to Brisbane CBD. Some delicious options, I ordered the garlic and thyme mushrooms on sourdough with porcini cream the first day which was brilliant fine lunching, followed by the crispy salmon with a salad and chorizo bits on the second which was also delicious. I’ve now just polished off the beetroot and coriander curry with cucumber salad, which was surprisingly fresh and full of flavour considering the lack of usual chicken / beef / lamb which is present in other curries. Service is also great, staff are friendly and professional. Highly recommend!
Great businessmans spot!. I stay at the Punt Hill Apartments just down the road from here whenever I’m in Brisbane, usually once a week and always eat at the O Bar. Their dinner menu is always good and regularly updated. I travel for business on my own and never feel out of place sitting at the bar lounge, ordering a stone & wood and ordering a steak. Their weekly special steak is brilliant and so is the coffee made on the La Marzocco! Always reliable and always recommended..
Below average eggs benedict: poached eggs were overcooked, hollandaise and roasted tomatoes were cold, served on top of budget supermarket ham and awful bread. The coffee however was strong and well made and the service/atmosphere is pleasant.

Unbelievable – called the cops because we ate food. This is allegedly a restaurant and bar but when food service stopped at around 9pm we brought in some other food and were told we were ‘illegally eating food’ and that the Police would be called to rectify the situation. We were completely sober, having a work function and deemed to be ‘unbelievably rude’. Pot calling kettle black and customer service out the window!
