We went to Hop Space on Saturday 25/01/20 around 8pm for craft beer and snacks. The location is a little unexpected for a bar – that is not to say bad. It is in a shopping complex in Springwood.We liked the hip and cosy decor, laid back vibes and indie/electronic playlist. At this time of night the place was medium full.The menu boasts a wide selection of craft beers ciders wines and savoury snacks (tapas style). Notably there is no dessert menu. We ordered the pork belly ($18). It was delicious however the portion was very small for the price.It was great to seen such a vast collection of beers and ciders available. We decided to order a Slipstream XPA, a Brouhaha Strawberry Rhoubarb Sour and a young Henrys Cloudy Sour. The only downside is that we felt the prices seemed a bit steep at $18 a pint.The service was excellent, there is table service and you can also order from the bar.A more generous serving portions would have gone a long way.
