Terrible hygiene practices.Someone in front of me brought in their own keep cup. It was not washed at all – was in very gross condition. Full of old milk remains etc. This is usually not a concern if it doesn’t touch anything. However, the person requested sugar. The staff at the cafe used a spoon to stir his sugar that they then used to stir the sugar of everyone else following him.Not acceptable – if someone is bringing in a keep cup that is not washed it should not come into contact with anything that is going to touch other peoples coffee.

Decent, edible food to feed starving students. The food isn’t great, but it’s affordable. Had the stir fried noodles the other day which were really greasy, but well seasoned.
This place is always busy at lunchtime and there is usually a line in their coffee shop. The coffee wasnt bad, it was okay, and the service was fast enough, (many persons were there ).
Physiol is one of my preferred dining options on the UQ St Lucia campus. It is conveniently located near the the Chancellery and the JD Story Building and offers a nice mix of grab and go, healthy and unhealthy food options.I enjoy the wrap bar – several Wrap choices and lots of meats, salads and fresh vegetables to choose from. Just be mindful of how full you are filling them as they are pay by weight and I have ducked in for a quick snack and walked out with a $12 wrap on several occasions.I also love their Chicken Chippies. If ever they are out, just put on a smile and ask nicely and they’ll have a fresh batch ready in a couple minutes. I always find the need to add salt to these.
There is a good selection of hot food at decent prices. However the same cannot be said for the sushi, as the rice tasted stale and the salmon did not seem fresh at all and even had a ‘fishy’ smell to it. It is a great place to eat with friends before/after uni and is definitely less crowded than the other food place at the university.
Starting with the thing I like the most, the sitting area. Outside sitting and ofcourse the inside the place sitting and the place is always filled with mostly student (though it’s obvious). I am writing just for vegetarian people or people who might be interested in the same. So each day you have just one variety in vegetarian food which comes in three kind 5, 6.5 and 8 bucks for small medium and large packets. The price is good. Sometimes the food is amazing while other days I just don’t like the cuisine and hence. I am just attaching 2 pics it was good I am just not good with clicking food, may be. And that’s all. Here if the food looks good. Try it. You won’t regret. 🙂
