Too expensive for eating this level Thai food,Every meals are bad, include the milk tea, the worst one I tried….. anyway, phat elephant / kinn is better too much!!Only the decorating is nice
Omg best thai food ever!!! My partner and I just dined here over the weekend and the curries were full of flavour… the staff were really friendly and attentive and the portions were more then enough. We got to take some home! One of the best thai restaurants around. Highly recommend
Fantastic staff, and always so friendly. The crispy pork stir fry with vegetables (kana moo grob) is delicious and as it tasted in Thailand. Will definitely come again.
I’ve become more and more interested in Thai food over the last few years, (yes I know I’m late on the boat) but better late than never right? Thai at home is a family run business which is located in a nice spot at St Lucia that has recently been renovated to look more like a home, and it’s great. The food is tasty and I can’t really much bad about it. Similarly priced to other Thai restaurants, but I’d rate the food better than your average Thai joint. I loved the massaman curry, probably my favourite dish. Definitely worth a try!
Thai at home served us quality, authentic, delicious Thai food. Their chefs come straight from some of Bangkok’s most renowned cooking schools and the owners pride themselves on ensuring customers get a proper thai experience with homely food and service. We tried a few dishes and the standout for me was Grandma’s masuman curry. Tender beef and rich, thick sauce with soft potato and crunchy peanuts. The prices are a little higher than average but the quality is very high. theespressoalliance.wordpress.com
Thoroughly enjoyed sitting around the family dining table and sharing an authentic home cooked Thai dinner. Having been to Thailand myself, I can say that there are few places that have authentic Thai food. Many have the famous ‘pad thai’ or ‘green curry’ but that’s like saying Chinese food consists of ‘sweet and sour pork’ and ‘fried rice’. How many actually know what Thai food consists of? With chefs who were teachers from a famous Thai Cooking school in Bangkok, it’s no wonder the flavours of all dishes were perfectly balanced with tang and sweet rich aromas. Specialised in Thai food and dessert, this family owned restaurant provides dishes that are made from their very own grandmother’s secret recipes. The owners are extremely hospitable, the food is reasonably well priced, the place has a cosy Thai interior, and also caters for takeaways and home deliveries! They also have student deals to cater for University students looking for some dinner nearby. Overall, I was really impressed with this place.
Love a good Thai night and the range of fresh and healthy options that are available here 🙂 The curry we tasted was incredible and I’m a sucker for pad thai – though not as many vegetables as i would prefer so I recommend grabbing a salad/veggies on the side and it’s super great to see this as an option for those of us more fond of the greens! The rice paper rolls look deliciously fresh with plenty of veggie fillings which is so refreshing over the cheap, rice noodle filled versions I so often see! A definite option for local uni students looking for that little bit more than the average kebab-ville trip and of course a top choice for Thai in Brisbane! kbsugarfree.com
