Lovely place, kitchen staff are apprentices except head n sous chef. Great food, good size portions. Few minor technical faults but shouldn’t detract this place as a must visit at the granite belt.
Excellent food and lovely service! We had the medley of mains which were all really delicious and well balanced. The Golden Fried Taleggio was so yummy I could have eaten it all day. A really lovely dining experience and the warm fire place was so cozy.
Nice venue but very expensive and the food just doesn’t live up to the price. We shared an entree of aranchini balls which were tasty but mainly cheese and not much rice. Main of pork belly was disappointing and very fatty and the quail ragout was nice but not amazing. When you pay $100 for lunch for two you expect to be pretty impressed which we weren’t. The wine was pretty nice. Wouldn’t go back.
I’ve been here a number of times and it’s consistently good. The house wines are produced by the college wine maker and are good quality. My favourites are the Petit Verdot and Viognier. The food is always delicious. It’s great to see a training institute producing top notch food. Visit this place if you get the chance.
