We visit Chili Coco every Tuesday evening for dinner, and the food, as well as the service is impeccable. I would personally recommend the BBQ Duck or the Soft Shell Crab. They do have a quite a range of food and beverage, which is nice. 10/10 for Rose, Fern and the team at Chili Coco
Delicious, fresh & yumm! Friendly staff, plenty of parking, tasty dishes, cosy little place that’s not overdone, just modern serving fresh Thai. Check it out!
I know that these days people being so negative and always leave a bad feedback for every business and make their head spinning crazy but I always love to give my positive feedback to support the people who works in hospitality industry so thank you so much Chili coco for your beautiful food and wonderful service! you guys have done an excellent job to keep my dining a good experience and I’ll be returning again soon!!!!!
I’ve walked past Chili Coco several times, but a friend recently recommended it and I decided to give it a go with a couple mates. We ordered the Vegetarian Curry Puffs, Massaman Beef Curry, Crispy Chicken Stir-Fry, Ginger Chicken Stir-Fry, Jasmine Rice and three Roti. The Curry Puffs were good (3.5). The Massaman Beef Curry was slightly too sweet, but the meat was tender and delicious (4). The Crispy Chicken Stir-Fry was good (3.5), while the Ginger Chicken Stir-Fry was average (3).The Roti were disappointing and do not compare favourably with others I’ve eaten in the past few weeks (2.5).Overall, an above average meal. I brought home a menu when I learned that they deliver to Greenslopes, East Brisbane, Annerley, Coorparoo, Camp Hill, Woolloongabba, Holland Park and Holland Park West.A note of caution – try to avoid using the bathrooms. You have to walk through a back alley that stinks terribly, unlock an exterior door, climb a flight of stairs, unlock a second door and then you are confronted with a smell almost as bad as the alley. I didn’t deduct any points from my review because these are clearly bathrooms shared between several businesses and the dumpsters stinking up the alley belonged to the Stones Corner Hotel.
The girl serving at the counter did not want to accept my 25% off voucher from the entertainment book as I had ordered through their website (which apparently is through menulog even though I placed the order from their website). I was paying in cash so I don;t see the issue. Nowhere does it state that the entertainment book voucher is not valid if ordering online. Seriously we disagreed over this for about 5 minutes with the lady telling me I had to pay full price and use the voucher another time. Get real – the voucher was the only reason I tried a new place. To be this argumentative they’re obviously not fussed about having return customers.Deep breathes – the food. Curry puffs were okay – pastry was nice, filling so so. Satays were terrible. Dry pieces of chicken and what tasted like a packet sauce. Pad see ew was pretty good. Salt and Pepper pork – very small serve for the price and pretty bland with half the container full of dead lettuce leaves. Much better Thai elsewhere with wayyyyyy better customer service.
Nice food and good atmosphere, BBQ Duck and salt pepper Crispy pork belly are recommend!! Will be back to have another tasty dish next time 🙂
Good service and friendly staff. Boyfriend enjoyed his meal; however the chicken larb was inedible. Never had a ridiculous amount of uncooked rice throughout a larb to the point it was all crunch and no mince. It also had way too much liquid at the bottom… Staff offered to cook something else; however I didn’t want anything else so they did not charge us for it. Probably wouldn’t go back here.
