After I read Diana’s review, it tempts me to give it a go this morning. It seems that I was the first customer of the day at 7:10am . Ordered the almond croissant and a flat white. Presentation of the croissant deserves thumb-up but the texture. Coffee made of Fox brew is no doubt a good one even though the taste is not my cup of tea but presentation, strength and smoothness are all spot-on. This flat white does save a lot of marks.
Not very often I get the good luck to score two coffee shops a 5 in a week, but this was my second run of luck here at Stonehouse. Came across this place quite by chance as it is hard to spot driving past on the busy Stones Corner section of Old Cleveland Road. The staff are very passionate about their coffee as they are with their music. The two marry very well together though. My coffee had the flair of single origin, perfect smoothness & mouthfeel with slight licorice overtones. Ordered a double shot to savor that great flavor
