Just ordered a simple with eggs on toast and side of bacon. The portion of eggs was very small or in Italian scievo. Also paying a $4 for a single rasher of bacon is pretty average. I dont have intentions of coming back here.

Been here a few times for breakfast. Good breakfast, really good service, and great coffee. Real bonus being close to a little play area in mall, where you can eat in relative peace, and little one can occupy themselves

Decent cafe for a little cake and a cup of tea. Prices are reasonable and the staff are always prompt and pleasant. The only downside (for me) is the cafe’s proximity to the kids jungle gym – it can get a bit rowdy in there at times! For parents however, I’m sure it would be the perfect spot to enjoy a cuppa while the little ones played.

This is my first time here, so let’s see how the food measure up. I just had the eggs florentine. It was fairly tasty. However, the toast was a bit soggy and not toasted enough.

Rip off!!. Went yesterday with a friend to celebrate birthday. Ordered the beef hamburger with lettuce ,tomato & chips for $10 + had to buy a drink to get this offer. Well what a shock when 1/2 a large round roll arrived! Inside maybe 1T lettuce & 2 small pieces tomato + chips. The beef patty was very small. Held together with a skewer. So to have this served to friend for birthday meal was a big embarrassment. Mc Donalds’ a better value meal by far!! Water in jugs was not cold but just tap water & I was informed if cold was required, would have to purchase same in bottles. Have traveled extensively in Aust & o/seas & this was the most pathetic excuse for a hamburger I have ever had! As a newcomer to the area who will be shopping & having lunch in the shopping centre regularly, they will definitely NOT get my weekly eat out $$…nor my friends. Wished I had had camera/phone to have taken pic of the meal!

Food Standards slipped on more then one occasion. We have been at the coffee shop from the start the service and food then was great The last 5 times ( in 4 weeks period ) the food standard is below par the coffee is Luke warm , fruit scone with one piece of fruit in it , the smoked salmon sandwich old bread little bit of smoked salmon , toasted chicken and advocado sandwich to much fat the toasted sandwich was dripping in it , no knife & fork very messy and taste less , the service is lacking , friendly staff but that won’t bring me back again

Standards slipped. Been going here for a few years now. The last few months have changed, the atmosphere isn’t as friendly. The food order was wrong and the coffees were wrong too. A lot of new staff that don’t seem to know what they are doing. We’ll just go back to Chermside Scuzi now. Exceptional restaurant there.
