Decent takeaway at reasonable prices. Standard Chinese takeaway fare, nothing you wouldn’t expect and certainly no surprises – good or bad. A safe bet for an easy dinner.
Incredibly reasonable prices, too quality food and such kind staff. It’s a wonderful place to dine in or takeaway.
Consistency, I can applaud. This has been our go to Chinese restaurant for 2 years now and not once has their quality faltered. Order any time or day and we’ll never be disappointed. All food always has fresh crisp vegetables and good cuts of meat.Every new item we try has never been a disappointment.Their battered items, eg; sweet and sour pork, honey chicken are my favourite from here. They even stay crisp after being in a take away container. I also make sure to get an order of short soup every time I go.
THE BEST CHINESE take out ever !!!!!!. We order the honey chicken and sweet and sour pork, the chicken is actually in there compared to some otger places and it is just all batter. Same with the pork there is actually pork ! The batter is delicious, the sweet and sour pork isn’t that sticky red pinkish crap its a beautiful yellowish liquid and is so amazing and authentic chinese. I will never go back to the fake red goopy sweet and sour pork ever !!!Spring rolls are yummy too !! Occasionally the prawn crackers are a bit over done though, that is really the only negative I have.
Barbj. A quiet jewel in the local area. Family and friends have used dine in and takeaway services frequently. Unfortunately the restaurant is only open for night service. Staff are attentive and polite, in a pleasant & clean, some what dated decor surroundings. Food is fantastic! ! This from people from an asian background. Clean & authentic flavours. Recommend – Hot&sour soup, salt&pepper squid, fried icecream, duck & plum sauce and many more. $$$ good value.
Not worth the effort. Thought I would take my daughters for a Girls night. The restaurant was quite empty with a few people coming in for takeaway orders. We ordered spring rolls, Prawn Chips, Lemon Chicken, Plum Chicken and Deep Fried Duck in Peking sauce. The spring rolls had no flavor and the filling was crunchy. The lemon and plum chicken was nice for battered chicken in sauce. The Duck in the other had was terrible. It was grey and the skin was rubber and gelatinous as they put it in batter. It was very unappetizing. When the waiter came over to is to see if we were enjoying our meal. I said that my meal was not what I was expecting. As I have had deep fried duck in the past with crispy skin. He was extremely rude and condersending. He said all ducks have skin. This after he told a female staff member to MOVE. I will not return to this premises as it is not anything special and the behavior of the staff was disgusting. As I was paying the bill the wait staff swore at me in front of my children when I said I didn’t want to pay as it was inedibable. Do not go to this restaurant.
Great takeaway with a nice clean dine in area. I recommend the chicken wings. Only thing I don’t like is that I always want to try as many different things as I can because everything is so flavoursome, I always end up overeating.
