The best Jokbal (#18) and Pork Bone Soup (#16) in the town! They are super tasty and also very generous with the portion. For other dishes are average or above, but these two menus are worth driving all the way from the city!
The workers were very nice! Ordered the spicy bone soup and it was massive and hearty! I loved it. Also, I went at lunch time because it was cheaper 🙂
For the price its a great place to have lunch. But not worth it for dinner. Lunch offers 20% off so most meals were priced around $10 after the discount. Food is average. Pork bone soup was very disappointing. Its a big portion but the taste was very much lacking. No flavour and under-seasoned. Very bland. Also had the seafood stir fried noddles. Tasted more like a chinese stir fried noodles rather then korean but really enjoyed it, was quite tasty. Also had the spicy squid. It was ok. Sauce needed to be better. All i could taste was the korean chilli paste. Overall I’d go back for a quick cheap lunch but not dinner.
Firstly, the food was great. I went with a Korean friend and he ordered everything and the food was just fantastic. The pork, the spicy pork and some kind of noodle. Unfortunately, the waitresses were late and unenthusiastic. They didn’t give us a menu and we had to try quite hard to get their attention. There weren’t even many customers; I don’t understand how they could of missed us for so long.Would go again, just don’t expect the waitresses to be useful.
Located next to Lemon Chilli is this authentic Korean food eatery. Dined in on one Thursday night and we were the only non-Korean diners. There was only one lovely waitress looking after the whole dining area. We ordered the set menu including the Braised Pork Belly with Traditional Kimchi and Hot spicy Chicken Thigh. I loved the Pork Belly to go with the homemade sauce wrapped with various herbs and lettuce. I also glad to see the chef selected the chicken thigh for our particular chicken order. The thigh meats provide good juicy texture and the degree of hotness and spiciness (we ordered mild only) was just fitted for my palate. The chicken dish was a perfect partner with the cold pomegranate wine, which was similar to the Japanese Plum wine but brew up with pomegranates. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience, which warrants my return.
Best pork bone soup in town. large portion of soup . Always short of staff n poor service. Long break time in between lunch n dinner also recommend bulgogi soup.
Ordered the fried chicken dish, spicy thigh dish, octopus noodle dish along with a few sides. The service is reasonable but… noticed other tables who arrived after us getting their orders before us but staff are quite friendly. The restaurant is probably more welcoming to korean patrons to be honest. The food is really delicious and great though and worth the price. Pretty decent korean restaurant. Would give a higher rating if service was a tad better.
