A typical visit to the local fish and chip shop each month. The food and service was friendly. Ordered each of the foods in the display. Food was fresh and non greasy. Crispy as i loved and not under or overcooked. Would recommend and come back again. A pleasure eating at this place. 🙂

This place has been bookmarked for so long & finally managed a visit the other day. After reading Ron’s glowing review I was rather excited. Ordered the cod with calamari rings & chips. They certainly lived up to all my expectations, the crumb coating was probably the best I have tried, had a hint of garlic on the calamari crumb which obviously added to the appeal for me. Nothing was greasy & all was crisp & light. Cod was chuncky perfectly cooked as were the chips. Service was also a delight, friendly happy smiling couple doing an excellent job with good old fish & chips

Agree with other foodies’ reviews as shown below. This fish & chip shop is another local gem in Runcorn area. Had quick dinner there last Wednesday. Honestly, I do not go to Fish & Chip shop often due to the fact that I did not have many good experiences from this types of eateries (the best time that I had was at the Hangi Pit @ Springwood, where I had the best battered fish fillet). Therefore, when I arrived this eatery, I decided to go for the grilled snapper (there are options of grilled or deep-fried) and a med size of seafood salad. My gaze browsed around while I was waiting for the order. The whole eatery was nice and cleaned. It seems to be owned by a Chinese family, where all the members are full of passion with friendly smiles. It only took around five minutes for my order (mainly to wait for the fish fillet) and the owner was so good to dropthe order to my table (because I chose to dine in at the tables setting in front of the shop). The nice wrap bag for the fish fillet really won my appreciation because it is good to keep the temperature, looks nice & clean. Opened the bag and the aroma of the grilled fish attacked my olfactory sense immediately. I could not hold for another minutes to cut the fish and had the first mouthful piece. Well, fillet was perfectly done with juicy meat. I then opened the plastic container of the seafood salad. Wow, there were many chopped seafood sticks and prawns with well balanced vegetables and sauce. This eatery is another success example of small business running by passionate peoples.
