Can’t go wrong with a lunch visit to Surabing+. For only $10 you truly can get a taste of Korea. For the main part of my dish I ordered soy sauce chicken which was a sweet and soy sauce coating crispy fried pieces of chicken. Then to choose from three sides I chose japchae, sweet fried tofu and pork & vegetable dumplings. The japchae was nice, not too oily but didn’t have as much flavour as I’d prefer. The tofu tasted the same as the chicken I ordered and the dumplings were really flavoursome. The portion size was so big I could not finish it!For the second box I ordered seasoned spicy chicken which was similar to the soy sauce chicken but had a spiciness to it. For sides I ordered stir fried potatoes which had a great flavour but the potatoes still had a crunch to it which I was not a big fan of. The tteokbokki was really tasty but certainly quite spicy and once again, the sweet fried tofu was nice.For only $1.50 extra you can get a small coffee of your choice. The coffee is quite average but cant complain for $1.50! If you’re in the area, I would highly recommend Surabing+ for a really cheap and delicious lunch or even takeaway for dinner or the next day’s lunch!

Was feeling hungry, while doing some toy shopping at the calamvale shopping centre. So from the outlook there only seemed to be a handful of food poo outlets too choose from. So after wondering, this place caught my eye with their food displayed at the front. Never really had this type of korean food, similar to a bento box where you choose your own meal and sides.The helpful staff made it easy, just choose one main and 3 sides from the second cabinet. So I went with spicy chicken as main, then glass noodles, tteokbokki, and dumplings. All for $9.90 a meal for under 10, and if you wanted a coffee for added $1.50.It was a decent sized meal with the addition of rice, the meal itself was nice, the spicy chicken wasnt spicy, just looked the part. The glass noodles had a nice sesame flavor to it and dumplings balance it out.So if your after a quick meal that is filling, drop by here.
